Latimer PRU performance project
Synergy was delighted to return to Latimer PRU from January — February for a performance project for Years 9 and 10.
After seeing Synergy’s production Cape last autumn, the West London PRU invited us back to deliver a response project. Led by spoken word extraordinaire Kenny Baraka and a Synergy Studio graduate, the project investigated the play’s themes of self-defence and personal responsibility. The participants wrote an original spoken word piece that formed part of a group piece. The final monologues and filmed performances were submitted as part of their portfolio towards their Arts Award.
