Playwriting for ex-prisoners

Everyone has a story to tell. What’s yours?

Synergy Theatre Project are offering ex-prisoners a FREE playwriting course, on Monday evenings from 18th April.

No previous writing or theatre experience is necessary, just a passion for telling stories and a commitment to developing yourself as a writer.

Working with the team at Theatre 503 in Battersea you’ll learn how to write a new play from scratch, in 10 weeks, ending with a presentation of your work, performed by a company of professional actors.

To apply please send one of the following as a writing sample:

a scene extract or dialogue (approx 4 pages, any subject, any number of characters)

OR

a short story or short story extract (no more than 4 pages)

By email to neil@synergytheatreproject.co.uk

or by post to

Neil Grutchfield, Synergy Theatre Project, 8 St Thomas Street, London SE1 9RR

If you have any enquiries then please call Neil on 020 36686730 quoting “playwriting course”.

Places subject to availability and suitability.
